Following is a series of three dirty pours that came together by share chance and pure good luck to be sold as "Wind, Water and Fire". Below is "WIND" in the form of a feminine head releasing re-vitalising breath to the universe (bottom R cnr)..."WATER" had the shape of the fish which was given definition and seaweed added..."FIRE" with the addition of black paint made a dramatic pour which I manipulated to get the illusion of intense heat and flames. It would have been a disaster if the light shining through had been covered in the process! It's knowing when to stop and more manageable with smaller canvases than the larger ones. A Māori artist complete with dreadlocks from Raglan NZ who works in the mines and lives in his house truck in western Australia paid for a copy of the series, I was honored he wanted to decorate his house truck with them. The originals below, were photographed and copies printed onto block frames similar to the same process as my Les Demoiselles piece. I hope he is still enjoying them...
Below R Cnr - ...the "WIND" goddess...

Below - "WATER" - the shape of the fish given definition to be visible. 'FIRE" - fire and brimstone with some shadey looking silhouettes...
